Boys Soccer v. Alpena/Gaylord

The Soccer team traveled below the bridge recently for games against Big North Conference schools Gaylord and Alpena.  The team dropped both games, by scores of 0-5 and 0-8, respectively.  With a relatively inexperienced team, both games gave the players some learning opportunities.  They travel to Manistique on Thursday, August 30th @ 3pm, before hosting their

Varsity Football @ Cheboygan

The Varsity football team traveled to Cheboygan on Friday, where they held on to beat the Chiefs 6-0 in a rain soaked game.  The lone score of the evening came on a run by senior running back Tate Kay.  The Varsity team will host Alpena on the 31st @ 7pm at Van Citters Field.

JV Football vs. Cheboygan

The Sault High Junior Varsity team opened play for the season by hosting the Cheboygan Chiefs at Van Citter’s field yesterday.  After a close first half, the JV Devils eventually fell to the Chiefs by a score of 26-14.  They travel to Alpena next Thursday (August 30th) and will play at Wildcat Stadium at 6pm.

Soo Volleyball

The Freshmen, Junior Varsity and Varsity Volleyball teams competed against Gaylord on Tuesday evening with the JV and Freshmen falling to the visitors and Varsity sweeping their match.
